Connections

30 curated sets of passages where one ancient author quotes, alludes to, or reworks another.

Each set is presented side by side with a short note on the connection. Every passage is quoted verbatim from the library’s own texts (Septuagint passages in the Swete wording); a set whose passage could not be found in the corpus was dropped, not filled in. Connection types are descriptive: direct quotation, allusion, or parallel tradition.

Linked from the Related block of every participating work, from the subject pages, and — where a shared term is the link — from the term pages.
