Lexicon
Look up a Greek, Latin, or Hebrew word — short definition first, then the full entries, with alphabetical neighbors. Greek words use LSJ and Abbott-Smith; Latin words use Lewis & Short and Lewis Elementary; Hebrew words use Brown-Driver-Briggs. All five dictionaries are in the public domain. Suggestions appear as you type; pick one with the mouse or the arrow keys.
Type a Greek, Latin, or Hebrew word above.
Dictionary forms only in this first version; type the nominative singular for nouns and the first person singular for verbs. Accents are ignored for Greek, vocalization for Hebrew; Greek words must be typed in Greek script, Hebrew words in Hebrew script. The Hebrew section is lexicon entries only (Brown-Driver-Briggs, 1906) — no Hebrew Bible text is published on this site. A small number of Hebrew-script cross-references inside Abbott-Smith entries were removed at extraction time.
